Refurbishment of an existing office building – sustainable upgrade to BREEAM Excellent

Our engineering office was commissioned for the refurbishment and technical upgrade of an existing office building with a total surface area of approximately 7.000 m².
The assignment involved the complete modernization of the building, with a strong focus on energy efficiency, comfort, and sustainability.

A key part of the project was the installation of a state-of-the-art technical system, including carbon-free energy generation. Thanks to this innovative approach, the building was designed and executed according to the highest sustainability standards, aiming to achieve a BREEAM Excellent certification.

The scope of works included:

• Electrical installations: power distribution, high-voltage cabins, fire detection, and access control

• HVAC: heating, ventilation, and cooling

• Sanitary installations and wet fire main

• Lifts

• EPB and BREEAM certification

The renovated building was completed in the summer of 2025, offering a future-proof, energy-efficient workplace that meets the highest technical and ecological standards.
